This end user terms of service is a legal agreement between you and Cengage Learning Australia ("Cengage") (ABN 14 058 280 149) and/or its corporate affiliates to grant you access to NelsonNet (the 'Service'). Cengage provides the Service in accordance with the following terms of service, as well as the Cengage privay policy which forms part of these terms.
General Terms

The Service is intended for use by Year 7 -12 students and teachers in Australia and New Zealand. In addition, NelsonNet also provides a code buying portal for booksellers to provide access to students to NelsonNet materials.

These terms of service constitute an agreement between you and Cengage. In using the Service, you agree to be bound by these terms.

You are responsible for accessing the Service in a secure way. Do not disclose your username or password to other parties.

Cengage is not responsible for any damage or loss resulting from use of the Service including transmission of information.
Terms for Campion users

For students that are provisioned an account by Campion Education (Aust) Pty Ltd (“Campion”) (ABN 33 074 318 602), please note that:

Cengage does not store your personal information including your name and password. All changes to this information, including password reset requests, will need to be directed to Campion.

Campion provides Cengage with your email address for Cengage to authenticate your account. This information is retained by Cengage to ensure your continued access to the material you have purchased.
User Conduct and Submissions

Any remarks, annotations, ideas, opinions or other information (collectively, 'Content') are the sole responsibility of the person who posted said content and do not necessarily reflect the views or opinions of Cengage.

The submission of Content by you is entirely voluntary and, other than your Personal Information, any Content is provided on a non-confidential basis.

As a condition of your use of the Service, you must ensure that any Content that you post does not contain any material which:

is in breach of any applicable laws, including with respect to copyright;

violates any other applicable laws;

is offensive or discriminatory.

By posting Content you provide Cengage exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable and fully-sublicensable licence to publish and use your Content including:

the right to transfer, deliver and sell Content

the right to edit, modify, adapt, arrange, improve, correct, develop, translate Content in entirety or in part

the right to update/upgrade Content

the right to file, perform or post Content on any media

the right to use or incorporate any or all of the Content in any Cengage product or service.

Cengage reserves the right, but not the obligation, to remove Content that it determines in its sole discretion to be:

Unlawful, offensive, threatening, intimidating, libellous, defamatory, obscene, discriminatory or otherwise objectionable

In violation of any party's intellectual property

Detrimental to the quality or intended spirit of the Service.

Use of the Service is also governed by our privay policy.
Copyright, Ownership and Data Security

Cengage owns all intellectual property rights to the Service, including but not limited to the design, artwork, functionality and documentation. You may not copy, modify or reverse engineer any part of the Service.
